Privacy Policy

What we collect

  • Account info: the email address from your sign-in provider (Cognito, backed by email/password or Google), and your selected plan.
  • Monitor configuration you enter: URLs, domains, DNS record types, and check intervals.
  • Check results: response times, status codes, SSL certificate expiry, DNS record snapshots, and domain registration data collected by running the checks you configured.
  • Billing info: handled directly by Stripe — we store your Stripe customer ID, not your card details.
  • Technical data: like nearly every web service, our servers and our authentication provider log IP addresses and browser information when you use the site.

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.

How we use it

Solely to run the service: performing the checks you configured, emailing you when something changes or fails, and billing your selected plan. Beyond alerts, we email you only about your account itself — things like payment problems, security notices, or changes to our terms or this policy. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your account email for marketing.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of subprocessors to run Zuptly: AWS (Cognito for authentication, SES for sending alert email, Secrets Manager for infrastructure secrets), Linode (application hosting), and Stripe (billing). Each only receives the data it needs to perform its function — for example, Stripe never sees your monitor configuration, and AWS SES only sees the alert emails we ask it to send.

Where your data is processed

Zuptly's servers and subprocessors are located in the United States, so your data is stored and processed there regardless of where you use the service from.

Bounce & complaint handling

If an alert email to your address bounces permanently or is marked as spam, we automatically stop sending to that address (via AWS SES's suppression list) rather than continuing to send mail it can't deliver. If this happens to your account's address in error, contact [email protected] to have it removed from suppression.

Data retention

Check-result history is retained for 7 days (Free), 90 days (Starter), or 1 year (Pro), then purged automatically. Deleting a monitor removes its data going forward. Closing your account (see "Your choices" below) stops all future emails and deletes your remaining data within 30 days, except billing records we keep only as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices

You can pause or delete any monitor at any time from the dashboard. To close your account entirely, or to request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it — wherever you're located — email [email protected].
